So it's been quite busy with the movie and at the same time making a climbing guidebook of Lapland, anyhow we did a short climbing trip to the south. Here's what happend:
-Mikkeli = It rained
-Savolinna = It rained
-Jyväskylä = still rained, didn't stop
-Vaasa = It was freezing, got sick of urban camping
-Tampere = Nice climbing and good weather and lurking in friends apartments
-Jyväskylä= Sauna & Beer
-Luohua = Hard problems and broken fingernails

Alltogether 2700 kilometres in a week,

When we got back, friends from Helsinki had arrived to Rovaniemi, so it meant guiding around Lapland. We also tried to find the "Kilpikonnakivi", but end up with a swamp and heavy rain. Have to go back and try to find it again, as it's one of the best blocks around here.

Despite that we didn't climb that much by ourselves , it was really nice to see old friends and and really nice that somebody actually came here to climb and I think many will agree that the friends that we meet during our trips are as important as climbing itself.

That's pretty much what we have been doing, still there's lot of things in our hands, but well try to update the blog as usual. Next trip will be after couple of weeks... and this time all the way to South Africa... let's see how that goes. Before that... who knows.
